"Prison Break" Alum to Come Between Castle and Beckett (Exclusive)

Just as Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) were finally going there, a new threat to the emerging couple is poised to emerge on ABC's "Castle".

"Prison Break's" Jodi Lyn O'Keefe has been tapped to guest star on the ABC drama's upcoming fifth season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.



O'Keefe will play Kristina Coterra, a sultry and voluptuous entertainment reporter at WHNY who shows more than a professional interest in Castle in the second episode of the season, titled 'Cloudy With a Chance of Murder'.

Following years of will-they-or-won't-they romantic tension, Beckett was last seen leading her partner in crime to the bedroom following a steamy make-out session in the fourth season finale.



"Castle" returns Monday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. on ABC.

"PB" was running on fumes by the time she came on though.

Seasons 3-4 did not match the level of greatness that 1-2 had IMO.

True, you can only break-out & go on the run so many times before it gets a little old. But she did bring some spice to the show & made it more exciting.

I also didn't like that she brought back Dr. Tancredi. She should have stayed dead.
