That would be alot of work. You'd have to find the statute of limitations from each US state. Other than that, I say go for it. I don't think anyone else has done what you're wanting to do as far as I know.

I dont think it will be that bad to do, but it might take some time. One thing Im not sure how to put on the list are the cases where so and so was possibly murdered, but no one is sure. Donald Kemp and a few others would fit into this category.

How about categorizing them as "Possible Homicide" or "Homicide?"

Yeah Im going to put them in an 'Unexplained Deaths', but it wont necessarily follow the UM categorization of the segments, but what is currently known (ie some unexplained death segments are now proven to have been murders).

Also thought about separating cases where a person is kidnapped/likely to have met foul play from those that vanished with no proof of foul play (such as Rogest Cain). Reason for this being that other than them being missing there isnt necessarily a crime.

That's a good idea also. There are definitely more than a few UM missing persons cases where the person could easily have died of natural causes elsewhere or simply even walked out of their lives, neither of which is illegal.

Dottie Caylor and Christopher Abeyta are classified as missing, not murdered.

I started a thread about this over a year ago but what about the Ken Palmer lost love segment? Is that still unsolved?

The statute of limitations had expired for the attack on Susan LaFerterte when they convicted Beaver Tempest of murder on Doreen Picard.

And Don Smith could go to the unsolved murder

Using one of the episodes guides, Im going to work on this this weekend. If I make a mistake where a case should be under, do tell me, and also if Ive put a crime in a still wanted column when the statute has run out. Ill probably do a look up on the ones that are questionable (Hijacking in the case of DB Cooper as well as the kidnapping cases, since those have long statutes).
