I saw it when it came out in 1965 and even though it was predicatable, it had an easy charm to it. It was blasted by the critics with one critic going so far to say that it was a disgrace to the Nelson family. What are your views of the movie?

Just a movie to showcase Rick and Kris, It is not unlike numerous teenage-type films from the mid-to-late 1950's up into the late 1960's.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was corny and dated, but still fun. Jack Kelly was nice to look at as well. The cameos by Skip Young and David were fun, too. I also like the song Come Out Dancin', it's pretty catchy :)

Also in the cast is Pert Kelton as the family maid. She played "Alice" in "The Honeymooners" with Jackie Gleason before Audrey Meadows took that role.

Now the theme song is stuck in my head. :crazy:
