I'm also a fan of the show & I really enjoy the chemistry between George (Jeremy Sisto) & Dallas (Cheryl Hines).

I've started to watch this show by mistake (thought it was a classic sit-com, not a modern comedy), and after three episodes I've bought the entire season 1 boxset.
Totally love it... and Jane Levy is a amazing as Tessa.

I'm a Jeremy Sisto fan from Law & Order. Surprised that he's a decent comedic actor. The Shays are hilarious. Like the Middle, this show is very underrated.
