With VHS you can put in a 8 hour tape of your show and watch your own marathon all day but with DVD you have to change the disc after 6 episodes.

Do you agree? On VHS you can watch half a season or more especially if it's a 9 hour tape

I agree. I personally like VHS and I dont know why they are phasing them out. Not only can you tape a marathon with 1 VHS tape but you also have a tape that you can enjoy. Depending upon the channel, theres no music thats dubbed over like on DVD, theres no cut scenes etc. Maybe some people dont care about the music part, but to me, depending on the show, the music counts. The Wonder Years, Dawson's Creek, Married with Children etc. The theme song, to me, defines the show.

That's why I like to buy the 9 hour tapes because I can get like 17 eps on one tape and have a nice marathon
