The Following is my opinion alone and does not in any way express the opinions of sitcoms online.

It amazes me that there are so many people that have nothing better to do than insult each other and I see it allot on You tube. Even myself, I can't give an opinion on a video without being insulted by someone who has to feel superior. I don't see that much here on Sitcoms. I mean don't get me wrong, I have been insulted here for asking a question, but maybe 2 times throughout my entire membership. For the most part, people give their opinions here without an insult added. It seems many people just don't have any respect for others and you tube is thee place they go to show it, or should I say, take out their frustrations?

Youtube is the darkest cavern for faceless cowards to bring out the worst in themselves.

I had posted a comment on a video by the site that had posted a video on Gary Sinise's visit to a smart home for a service member.

I had posted that I didn't care for the music playing in the background since I couldn't really hear him too well. Then I said Gary was the best.

Few hours later I checked to see if there were any other comments and my comment was marked as 'spam'. :(

So I deleted that comment, just for the hell of it. :mad:

Some of the comments are vulgar and just plain uncalled for. I just don't understand these people.

It really depends on the subject matter. Some of the people there deserve the insults, like those who deny the holocaust, advocate racism, bigotry, and other forms of tyranny, and accuse the US and/or Israeli governments of carrying out 9/11.

That's a good way of putting it. I don't even read comments anymore. I just watch the videos and I just have the screen far enough up to where I don't have to see anybody's comments.

People are stupid that's why I only watch videos on YouTube. Never comment

I wonder something. Isnt Google own youtube? Than how do people get away with insulting and inappropriate comments on youtube? I also want to know how do people get to upload insulting and inappropriate videos and get away with it? Not only that but sometimes even there names that they go by on youtube is inappropriate. How do they get away with that? I agree with robyrob, just ignore them but still.

That annoys me too and the ones that really anger me are when I'm watching a Niles/Daphne video and people make rude and insulting comments about DHP and his lifestyle or about his acting. There used to be a way on Youtube to hide all the swear words and I'm so ticked that they got rid of that feature. I still love Youtube, but it irritates me to see stuff like this. Every so often I come across interesting things though.

I mentioned this before, but I don't even read people's comments on youtube anymore. Some of the nonsense I have read their over the years is not to be believed. I feel like my iq drops by atleast 20 points whenever I read that garbage. My two year old niece writes stuff that makes more sense then that crap!

I've been visiting Youtube for years now and over that time I have seen some of the most ridiculous arguments. The worst ones that I have ever seen are with fans of certain movie series who support the canon couples will deliberately go on fanmade videos of A/U couples and purposely start a confrontation with these supporters feeling they need to remind them that these are not the "real" couples and who the canon couples are which starts an argument.

All because there are people can't understand that not everyone has to like the canon couples that is why A/U were created so they have to option to like something else and there is nothing wrong with that it's just that is what the prefer. If these canon fans would understand and stop harrassing these other fans who support A/U couples and than none of these "shipper wars" would never have to happen. ohno:

What I hate most is when people go on there and purposely insult and badmouth a particular fan base, actor, singer or character. Why go onto a video of someone you can't stand just to insult them? I know a lot of them do it to stir up trouble. I mean do they have nothing better to do with their time? When they do that they don't realize they are giving that video more views. But they are too stupid to realize it. All they care about is acting immature and starting trouble. I didn't even think bashing actors or singers was even allowed. A character is one thing but the portrayer? They are real people and can be very offended by that garbage. People stoop so low as to insult other people, especially people they don't even know.
I can't tell you how many times I have been bashed because of who I like. Why do they care who I like? Why should it matter to them? Just because they don't like them doesn't mean I'm a bad person because I do. So stupid.
Some people are getting smart and blocking comments all together on their videos because they are sick of the bickering and rude comments. I can't say I blame them. They just get out of hand. It just shows you how many rude idiots there are in this world. :rolleyes:
