I've seen some, or what I perceived to be ghosts. Maybe it's just been my overactive imagination.

When I was a child, we moved to a neighborhood temporarily and another family did too. My family got to be pretty good friends with that family and they had a daughter who was a year younger than me. The daughter and I hung out most days and enjoyed exploring our new surroundings. My family moved to a new location a month or so later and the other family did too shortly after, but we still kept in touch and saw one another regularly. Maybe a year or so later, my friend talked about how we were wandering around the old neighborhood and discovered some houses we hadn't remembered seeing before. When we back at a later time, the houses were gone. It was as if they never existed. The thing is, we went back only a day or two later, so it wasn't as if everyone who lived there would have time to pack up and move out, have all of the houses destroyed and cleared the rubble in such a short time. I have absolutely no memory of this, but my friend remembered it clear as day and insisted that I remembered it too.

I bought a house about 9 years ago and began living on my own for the first time ever. I've always seen things that aren't there just out of the corner of my eye. When I turn to get a better look, it's gone. After moving into the house, I would sometimes think I saw very small floating lights. Again, when I'd turn my head, they would disappear. It didn't happen every night, just every once in a great while. I just figured maybe I was tired and needed to go to bed.

One day I walked into my bedroom. The lights were off, but it was light enough that I could kind of see an outline of something or another. I couldn't really see any distinguishing features, but I somehow knew it was a man. I took a step forward and it disappeared.

A long time later, maybe a few months or maybe longer, I walked out of the bathroom attached to the master bedroom one day. The lights were off, but it was daytime and there was enough light that I could still see. I saw the outline of a woman wearing a dress. The same as the time before, I couldn't see any features, but I knew instinctively that it was a woman. I stood there for a second or two and it disappeared.

About 3 years ago, I saw a psychic. I'm not sure how much I believe in them but everyone from work was going and I figured I'd join in too. (It was a group reading.) The psychic told me that an older man was watching over me, a relative. He also said there was a woman around and that she had something to do with the property. I wondered if they were the ones I'd seen, but I didn't ask.

Fast forward several years. My father passed away a little over a year ago. Several months ago, I was preparing to leave the house and saying goodbye to my dogs. I was standing at the door and turned back and saw a weird shadow against the laundry room door. It was only there for a second and then it was gone. I wondered if it was my father, but it disappeared so quickly that I had to question myself as to whether I actually saw it or not. The shadow was in the shape of a human body.

As I said, it's probably all just my imagination. I only saw the three figures very briefly and haven't seen anything in awhile.

Yes. I have.

One was out of the corner of my eye and was a mentor of sorts of mine a year or two after he passed. The other was a local lore ghost near where I grew up.

I also saw the essence of someone who was bilocating. I am also sensitive to certain things. I know things before other people do. I don't like to use the word paranormal or supernatural, but maybe preternatural is more like it. I don't believe any of these things exist outside of science, just outside of the science we currently understand.

Not a ghost, but I did have a vision of Jesus when I was very young...age 4-5 or so.I was at a friend's house, and he and I were playing with one of those (I think fisher-price used to make them) still projectors that project comics onto the wall.
One day we decided we were going to go into the hall and lay on the floor, looking up at the ceiling of them. (this wasn't a reel, you turned the pics one by one on the projector).I recall my friend sitting beside me,going thru the slides, and I had the empty projector shining up at the ceiling. When I looked up,I saw a very clear pic of Jesus, like a portrait. And there was nothing in the projector.I looked down and turned it,looking for the pic,and nothing was there.I know what I saw though. It was one of those basic portraits of Jesus with the long hair, beard and white robe on,and even at that young age,I knew just who it was.I'm still amazed that He got my attention in such a way that didn't scare me,and that I would recognize. :)

About ten years ago I received a job transfer to another city and had to move in with my grandmother for a couple months during the relocation. I stayed in her guest room located near the back of the house, and while at first everything seemed alright, it wasn't long before unusual things began happening at night.
I've always been a fairly sound sleeper but I found myself waking up at least once a night for various reasons. Most of the time I thought I'd been awakened by a strange noise or the feeling that someone was in the room with me. One time I woke up in the middle of the night and saw someone standing over me. I couldn't see clearly, but for some reason I got the impression that it was a woman wearing a red hat. It scared me so bad that I jumped out of the bed, grabbed my blanket and pillow, and spent the rest of the night on the couch. I asked my grandmother over breakfast the next morning if she'd come into my room but she hadn't.
I spent the rest of time there on the couch, LOL.

This wasn't a ghost but it was kind of creepy.

Some dear friends of mine lost a newborn baby. I was at the supermarket and saw something that reminded me of him. I was talking about him with my children and walked past the frozen food section.

There was an imprint of a baby foot on the glass door.

It can be made with the side of the palm of your hand and fingerprints, I'm sure someone did that and was just playing around. I doubt that anyone stuck a baby's foot on the door to make a print. I don't really think that the baby was sending me a message from heaven, but the timing was odd.

My kids have heard voices at my parents' house, but it has only happened when their cousins are also there. Nobody will admit to pranking, but I'm sure that's it.

I recall a time when I was a kid, my dad had a small tiger statue that his dead aunt (his mom's sister) had given him. I remember it sat on the floor on his side of the bed. One night when I slept on the floor in my parent's room in the dark, I heard a light growl/roar. I knew it had to somehow be the tiger statue because I was laying in front of it. I later broke the statue on accident when I climbed onto the dresser where my dad moved it to and it fell off and its legs broke into pieces. I got a beating for that even though it was an accident and I was only trying to get something I had left or thrown on top of the dresser. Last time I saw the statue, my dad had it on a shelf in his closet at a house he lived in after my parents divorced. Haven't seen it since.

No I never have. My cousins claim to have though and, so does my Aunt. I suppose it is possible.

It's funny how a spooky ghost story can mess with you psychologically. Even if you've never encountered a ghost in your life, watching a genuinely scary ghost story can somehow make you convinced that a ghost is going to come visit you THAT SAME NIGHT after you go to bed!

I remember a few years ago, I'd been watching a bunch of the UM ghost stories on DVD when I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a green light in the corner. For a couple of seconds, I was CONVINCED there was a ghost in my room! Turns out it was just the light on my charging cell phone, but watching all those UM segments must have messed with my mind.

I've never seen a ghost, but I have seen highly unusual, unexplained lights in the sky.

In the spring of 2007 I was camped out in a wilderness reserve just below the Tennessee border in Georgia about 15 miles or so south of Chattanooga. I was planning on getting up early the next morning so I was already in a sleeping bag at about 7:30 pm or so, and with no tent I had full view of the sky. I saw a very small white light moving at an extremely fast speed moving across the sky. It made no sound and was able to stop on a dime and move just as quickly in the other direction, which it did numerous times. Then, the single light separated into five or six new lights, and each light followed one behind the other as they moved around the sky. About a minute later, they rejoined into a single light. This continued for almost twenty minutes.

I never asked the other people with me if they'd seen anything as that crowd would never let me hear the end of it. They never mentioned anything about it. I actually didn't even tell anyone about what I saw until close to a year later.

I don't know what it was, but I definitely saw it. Not a ghost story, but definitely the biggest "unexplained" experience of my life to date.

When I was 15, my parents and I moved into a new home. The previous owner was an elderly lady who had lived there for decades before becoming infirmed (ultimately dying shortly after the sale). My parents' spent quite alot of time and money fixing it up (and lucky for them sold it in early 2007 at the height of the housing market).

There were numerous unexplained events that took place. Items would regularly disappear from where we put them a short time before. I would oftentimes feel a presence while alone in my room. Lights would go on and off by themselves. The incident I remember vividly occured when I was alone in the house late in the afternoon in the Summer. I heard the front door open and close and went downstairs to investigate. There was no one around, and I made it a point to unlock the door and walk outside, I closed it behind me and after walking around the yard, I tried to enter the house, but the door was locked. I know for a fact that I unlocked the door before leaving. I went around to the back door, which I also believed was unlocked as it routinely was (although I didn't check that door before walking outside) and that door was locked! That's the time that I believed strongly that there was something else with us in the house.

This sounds like the sort of things you see at an airshow I've never seen one in the dark but it might look like what you describe when they have a group of about five planes flying in close formation and then they turn straight up which could look like they've stopped and they split up then meet again I once saw one plane practising on it's own and it was so high up no one else heard it or knew it was there.

No, I don't think so, although I think I know what you're describing. This definitely wasn't fighters nor one of those finger-four type formations. I know what fighter aircraft lights look like at night and how it moves, and it was not at all like that.

I've never seen a ghost, but I did have a very creepy experience in a bookstore one night. I was curled up in the literature section reading and then I heard someone whisper my name right into my ear. No one was around. No one was there on that side of the store. I will never, ever forget it.

I haven't seen a ghost because they're not real.

I've never seen a ghost, but I've had dreams or nightmares that I saw ghosts projected in front of me in my room while I was asleep which was always creepy when I wake up.

I was always afraid of ghost segments on UM when I was a kid so that may explain my nightmares, but now they just intrigue me. I do think that there are some things that just cannot be explained. I think UM always did a good job of making it interesting.
