MTV announced Friday at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour that "Snooki & JWoww" has officially been renewed for a second season.
The news of the "Snooki & JWoww" renewal became evident last week when Patch reported the show had requested permission to film in Morristown, NJ. Those negotiations fell through Thursday, leading to speculation that the town said, "No thanks" to the rambunctious reality stars.
Based on the timeline of the request, it seems likely that the spin-off's second season will cover the late stages of Snooki's pregnancy and run through her delivery date. She is currently seven months pregnant, and the show requested permission to film until mid-October.
