then Cliff could have let Theo move in and experience Life on his own once he got settled in his apartment and allow him to find out that
1. Rent goes up
2. Food Prices go up
3. You may Get laid off and have to go on Interviews
That would have been a nice 3 part episode to educate their son on LIFE in the real world

Because it wouldn't have fit in with that particular sitcom, It fit in with GT, not with TCS. Plus at the end of the episode Theo got the message, so why continue to harp on that topic.

Yes, but why keep harping on a subject that wouldn't be that interesting of a story-line? AND Theo got the message at the end of the episode, so there wasn't a need to keep talking about living in the real world. Who wants to continue to have their parents in their ear harping on the same subject that they really don't care about?
