Watching Howard blast off for the International Space Station in the season finale prompted the following fun speculation:

I thought it would be funny if NASA actually had an ulterior motive by selecting Howard. Suppose they wanted to get even for his malfunctioning space toilet and decided to have him fall victim to his own creation.
