Ok so I cried lots when the episode that Jock could not be found played & they played the scenes when everyone remembered the times with Jock. However, some were not "good times" with Jock.... It actually made him look bad. Like for instance when Sue Ellen remembered it was when he yelled at her at the hospital when JR got shot; So why did they play both good & bad times / memories of Jock?? I guess to show that his character was so strong that it did have an impact on everyone?:confused:

Jock was a character with depth; he wasn't a "touchy feely" type of an angel all the time. He was a hard man, who expected a lot of those around him and he wasn't always easy to get along with. He wasn't very kind to his son, Gary, though Gary was basically a very good man. And Jock held a grudge like nobody's business.

He could be kind and charitable, too, of course. If he liked you he was loyal to the end. I think the scene probably tried to show all of Jock's sides.
