It's about a man who's son was kidnapped by a woman who called herself Sarah and contacted him by phone with instructions for delivering ransom money in exchange for his son back. He did the ransom drop and the police captured suspects one of which was supposedly a good friend of the kidnap victim but the woman slipped away. I think the police figured out her real identity; I think her first name was Desiree/Dezree however it could be spelled.

The victim's name was Kyle McElroy. Desiree Dawn Lingo-Perkins was eventually captured and convicted (as well as a few others) of his murder.
