Martin Sheen is poised to become a series regular on son Charlie Sheen‘s Anger Management.

The elder Sheen — who would come on board full-time in the event of AM scoring a “very likely” back 90 (yes, 90) order — plays the father of Charlie’s character, Charlie Goodson. He’ll first appear at end of the show’s current first season.

“[Martin's casting will] give an extra dimension to the show and make it a multi-generational family show,” said FX prez John Landgraf. “The show will still deal with his relationship with his patients and the women in his life.” The exec admitted that the critically savaged sitcom “has more growth in it creatively.”

That is great news and, I am looking forward to it. I am a fan of all 3 of them Charlie, Martin, and Emilio. Did anybody cetch Charlie on raw. He talked some smack to Daniel Bryant and basically told him any place any time:lol: I don't know if it will turn into a match at Wrestlemania or not. But stranger things have happened.

Martin Sheen is an incredible actor and I think that is awesome that he is showing his support towards his son by being involved with Charlie Sheen's show. The last time that I saw them together was on Two and a Half Men when he played Rose's (Melanie Lynskey) father. This should prove to be interesting.

I think the show is missing some good characters, will be interesting to see how Martin goes

I completely agree. The show has a lot of stereotypical characters in it that are one dimensional perhaps now that Martin is on there now that will change some. At least I'm hoping.
