Early last week Universal announced an October 16th DVD release of The Office - Secret Santa Pack, but all we had at the time was the date and cost ($14.98 SRP). Now we've learned that it will contain these 4 episodes (as if we couldn't have guessed): "Christmas Party" (Season 2), "A Benihana Christmas" (double-length; Season 3), "Moroccan Christmas" (Season 5), and "Secret Santa" (Season 6). Here's a look at the cover art:

I have two Office Xmas eps already on a set with eps from 4 or 5 different shows. As for buying Office DVDs I'm going the frugal route and just burn eps from two local stations that air 12 a week between them.

Getting fans to buy episodes on DVD that will end up being on a complete series set release in the future. So basically paying for the same eps TWICE

Oh. Yeah, I've been suckered into that trap in the past. I've wised up, and 98% of time burn from TV to DVD. This way I don't have to spend any $ on DVD eps. Like the two seasons of I Love Lucy that I bought and then two months later the entire series rolls out. And the entire series of Patty Duke only to have it end up on This TV - where I could have burned it for free. Very unlikely to buy any more series for a while. Maybe more Hot In Cleveland cause I don't have cable.

And You Tube is another great free source with more & more getting added every day. Like those two eps of Taxi I told you about.

YouTube, Antenna TV, and Me-TV is where I will watch TV shows from 1950's to 1980's

N@N and TBS is where I will watch tv shows from the 90's

No more individual DVD sets will be purchased unless it's

Season 7 of the Jeffersons or Season 2 of Welcome back Kotter LOL

I hear you - sound like a wise strategy to me. I will only buy S3 & up of Hot In Cleveland. Although I am tempted to buy S1 of Happy Days which is on sale for $9.99 at Best Buy.

I would be tempted to buy season 5 of Happy Days since I never seen the uncut version of the Mork episode
