Just started watching this episode of Caroline in the City called "Caroline in the Cat Dancer" that stars David Hyde Pierce and it would be an understatement to say that it was worth the wait!

I haven't finished watching it, but so far it's awesome!

DHP plays an IRS guy who audits Annie and when he finds out that she's a dancer in the musical Cats, he admits to being a fanatic, having seen it 13 times and he begs for an audition.

Thought I'd share a few pictures... and then after I finish watching it, I'll discuss some more!

BTW, have to give special thanks to Monika for telling me about this episode a while back. It was so worth waiting for!

I think it's funny how you notice so many people from Frasier who show up in some of the other things that have DHP or Kelsey in it-- or maybe I should say they worked with them in something else first and then they showed up on Frasier? And since they're not usually big, household name actors that you see, it makes me wonder if it's intentional-- as in, they give people they know and have worked with before the jobs? This episode has in it the guy who played the radio station manager who Frasier tried to set up with Daphne only to learn that he's gay. Even Sleepless in Seattle has 2 or 3 people in it who later show up on Frasier-- Kenny is one, and the lady who plays Fay's mom (Merry Christmas Mrs Moskowitz) is another that I can think of off the top of my head. I recently saw that Birthday concert for Sondheim that DHP hosted, and that had some people in it that had been on Frasier, too. Seems like more often than not I see DHP in something and someone else who was on Frasier shows up in it. :)

Oh yeah, that was classic! Geez, I hope he doesn't really dance like that when he auditions for plays and musicals! LOL Although if he did, I'd want to go see his performance anyway!
