There is a scene where Sam was in trouble for something, or she was mad at Angela earlier, and then later on they were talking and Sam says to Angela that all her friends get annoyed with their mothers too, or something close to that. Then Angela smiles up to Tony and asks if he just heard what Sam had said.

I can remember that scene, but I can't remember anything else from that episode and it's irritating me now. Anyone know what episode this is from? Or even just what's going on in the episode?

The episode is called Working Girls. In it Sam and her classmates get to choose a career to work at for I believe a week? Sam chooses housekeeping and Bonnie chooses Advertising. Sam gets jealous cause it seems like Angela and Bonnie are getting along so she and Bonnie switch. Sam ends up making a major boo boo and things get tense. Later Sam tells Bonnie she wants to switch again because she doesn't want to work with Angela anymore- right when Tony and Angela walk in. Bonnie leaves and the 3 of them talk and Tony says Sam should be more like Bonnie (or something like that) Sam gets all upset and says "Oh yeah Bonnie has a great attitude. She's the one who came up with the brilliant ad campaign. She's the one who Angela took to the Russian tea room and she's the one that Angela likes!!" Angela replies that she does like Bonnie but she loves her. Sam and Angela both say that they thought that the other one didn't want to be with the other and Angela says that sometimes she feels that Sam thinks she is a drag and Sam replies that a lot of her friends feel that way about their mothers. Angela gets all teary and asks Tony if he heard and he says he did. Angela says she feels so loved and Sam says me too and they hug then Tony says me too and grabs them both in a bear hug.
