My on screen guide shows TV-PG ratings when Dennis the Menace airs on Antenna TV. There's nothing remotely PG about it!

The PG stands for Poor George. (Wilson)

Well, Dennis did say "deviled egg" in one episode, which according to Margaret was a dirty word. :o :D

Unless the terms "Jeepers" and "Gee whiz" are somehow considered racy, I don't see why it's rated TV-PG. It should be G.

If Dennis were being newly-produced today, he might be considered a domestic terrorism threat -- especially with that slingshot in his pocket...!

This show is from a bygone era, and I think the network is just fudging the rating to protect itself from criticism from parents engulfed in modern political correctness. A good example from another medium is the Dr. Seuss book Scrambled Eggs Super, which at least a few people now view as environmentally unfriendly. You'll have to get used to the hysteria.

Haha, definetly crazy but probbably just a mistake. Such a family friendly show, maybe they have it PG so the family can watch it together
