WARNING There may be SPOILERS in this review.
Andrew Garfield was very good as Spiderman and pulled it off very well. I think he out did Toby Mcguire. Emma Stone was good but I didn't feel she was into her part as much as Andrew was into his. But Rhys Ifans, who played DR. Curt Conners/ The Lizard, was amazing. I kept thinking Spike, Hugh Grants air headed room mate in "Notting Hill" but he was so different. This guy is a wonderful actor I would go see again and again. It was nice seeing Martin Sheen and Sally Field again as Peters aunt and uncle.
Don't expect to see the characters of Mary Jane or J. Jameson in this one, but I will say that JK Simmons as the most dedicated hater of Spiderman was missed.
This movie is more dramatic and less comical then the previous 3 and puts Spidermans existence with Peter Parkers past. The action is great and so is the story line. This movie IMO was better than the last 3.

I saw this July 7 and thought that it was absolutely amazing (no pun intended :) ) I thought that Marc Webb gave more depth in terms of story and allowing the audience the time to really get to know the charactes
while at the same time creating enough suspense and mystery to keep them guessing. The cast was fantastic, I loved Sally Field and Martin Sheen in this they had such terrific chemistry together. Andrew Garfield was great and I think that Marc Webb make the right decision in casting him as Peter Parker. Andrew has always loved Spider-Man and read the comics growing up so he really knew and understood the character in a way that made him really the perfect choice for this role.
Emma Stone I thought she was really good as Gwen Stacy. In Spider-Man 3 all the character had been put in for was to cause love drama between Peter and M.J and nothing else so it was great to learn more about her as a character and the relationship between her and Peter. The rest of the cast like Rhys Ifans and Denis Leary were great in their roles as well, both were did an excellent job. :D Over all I give The Amazing Spider-Man a 10/10:D

I heard that they are going to have Harry Osborn, Mary Jane Watson, and I believe J. Jonah Jameson will be appearing as well. I am really hoping they bring back J.K Simmons he was so perfect in that role that it would be awesome to see him return again for the reboot and see how well that he would work with the Andrew Garfield in scenes.
As for the Green Goblin, Rhys Ifans already confirmed that the mysterious character in the end credits scene is not Norman Osborn. Though this could be done to decieve fans. They said in The Dark Knight Rises that Talia al Ghul wasn't going to appear either and sure enough she was in it so it's still plausible the might still do it they are just wanting to keep a little mystery right now which is good because that keeps people interested in knowing what it coming next. :) I can't wait for May 2014
