The Young and the Restless has given its blessing to casting Bonnie Franklin … as a nun!
The actress best known for her work in the CBS comedy One Day at a Time will play Sister Celeste, a streetwise nun who lends Victor a helping hand. (Maybe she can get him to lay off the younger ladies).
Franklin starts production on the sudser this week. Her episodes will begin airing in mid-August.
Most recently, Franklin appeared on TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland.
