She's angry because she think's Ray has taken Gary's place in the family.

Not to mention the fact that Jock cheated on her and fathered a son she didn't know about.

Yea but she didn't get mad at him until Months later at Lucy's wedding when Gary showed up. She did know about the affair for years, just not about Ray.

I think Gary's presence at Lucy's wedding reminded Miss Ellie of the fact that Gary will never live at Southfork or in Texas for that matter. The discovery that Ray is Jock's son, added to the situation and led to Miss Elllie's fury. Just keep watching Tiffy 540, the situation with Jock and Miss Ellie is going to get worse.

All what you guys said is true. Eventually Miss Ellie accepted that Gary would never live at Southfork (J.R. would do everything in his power to run him off again). She also would embrace Ray as a member of the family, and at times refered to him as her son as well.
