This was a decade of many amazing shows, so I couldn't fit them all in the poll. What is your favorite sitcom (or two) of the 1970's?

I mean, Three's Company even if the majority of it took place in the 80's. But I'm obviously a big fan of others like MTM, All in the Family, Taxi, Happy Days, and Laverne and Shirley among others. So many great sitcoms in the 70's.

Of the choices in the poll, i'd have to go with Three's Company. I really liked the Brady Bunch, Good Times and Sanford & Son too.

All In The Family and Three's Company are my top two series of the '70s.

Taxi is my favorite sitcom of the 70s and my second favorite sitcom of all-time.

Some other favorites from the 70s include: Happy Days, Chico and the Man, The Odd Couple, M*A*S*H, Three's Company and Rhoda.

Happy Days, then All in the Family, then Three's Company. Taxi, too.

Well, Happy Days and AITF may be a tie.

I voted for Mary Tyler Moore. Happy Days and M*A*S*H were also possibilities. I haven't seen much of Taxi and Welcome Back Kotter, it would be nice if Antenna picked them up.

Three's Company would be my favorite, but I also love All in the Family, The Brady Bunch, Good Times, Happy Days, The Jeffersons, Laverne and Shirley, Sanford and Son, and one that is not listed, Maude.

I'd go with Three's Company and then AITF and Happy Days.

Happy Days is #1 for me. After that would be a sitcom that isn't on your poll list (and why is that, I wonder?) and that's "The Partridge Family". Overall, I would rank them this way:

If we're talking about shows we love now, then my favorite would be the Brady Bunch. I don't think I became a fan of that show until it came on in syndication. But as for shows I watched back then, I'd say Happy Days is my favorite followed by Laverne and Shirley and then Welcome Back Kotter

I grew up after the 70s but have watched reruns of some of these. The Brady Bunch was a favourite as a kid and was on TV for re-runs pretty often during that time, so I got to watch a bit of it. M*A*S*H would probably be second in this list.

There are many Great shows from the 1970s. in fact it's is my Favorite Decade! My favorite show from the 1970s is Three's Company which is also my favorite show of all time as well.

Since i could only pick one, I went with my all time favorite show " Three's Company". One of just a few tv series on dvd i HAD to have and have the entire run. all 8 seasons, waited til all the seasons were relased and bought them all. Also on that list would be Happy Days a close 2nd and mash third. all the others i can take or leave. I want the entire season sets of Happy Days and Mash too. I know Happy Days are not all out on DVD. Theres a few other shows on there i like as well,but those ones i would be satisfied to just tape the series off tv to dvd, dont like them enough to spend the money on dvd sets. Over all i think the 70s were the best year for tv shows. comedy and crime drama cop shows
