I don't think so...but I wish it did....

I wish it was. I love the pre-movie episodes but anything made since 2005 is useless. It's the Simpsons of kids animation.

My sis loves this show. I don't know, I just don't get why. But to each its own.

It should be. Nick needs to start creating new animated as well as live-action programming, because relying on SponbeBob for ratings isn't going to work forever. You don't see Disney airing Kim Possible 50 times a day.

well EmoJoe, if Spongebob Squarepants is the Simpsons of kids animation for Nickelodeon;then i say that South Park is the Simpsons of adult animation for Comedy Central!

and no i don't watch South Park at all, i'm just saying that the series had a long and healthy successful run as well on Comedy Central.

I have this statement: South Park is the worst long-running scripted TV series of all time. That show needs to get cancelled for real.

well James28, which season was your breaking point?

I try to stay away from South Park at all costs, but my grandson Jim used to watch South Park (the syndicated versions) and, due to a bad voice actress (who shall remain nameless) and poor handling of current events due to the characters not aging, not to mention the fact that the show got him into trouble at school multiple times, Season 14 was his breaking point (the 200 episode), and his interest in SP waned to the point where he wanted to avoid the show at all costs as well and wishing that SP would wrap up its run soon (it got renewed through season 20, they need to stop renewing that show).

I do not understand why we let the animated floating timeline crap become the longest-running in everything in television these days (longest-running scripted TV series on a commercial/cable TV network). Now, because of this, live action is more of a "comfort zone" to Jim.

sorry for your loss and i'm also sorry to mention about "South Park" in the "Spongebob is cancelled" thread James28;please forgive me.

I haven't heard that it had been canceled. I've watched it a couple of times and really couldn't get into it at all.

strangely enough that basically the same reason i stopped watching Family Feud with Steve Harvey in 2010 after six episodes but that's just a different story!

Point is, I do not think that long-running animated sliding timescale series should be given special treatment anymore.

so i'm guess from your P.O.V (Point of View) you want The Simpsons, Spongebob Squarepants, & South Park to die a slow and painful death from the tubes. in other words get cancelled a.k.a pull the plug right?

^^Well, not without a proper final wrap-up episode, of course.

right, i was going to say that you know.

While some people may complain about Spongebob, I am still on the loving him train.

well good for you knockpenny!

as for me SS on Nick doesn't really bother me that much, it's that I just don't care about it, that's all.
