Paramount used to be the company that distributed Taxi. Following mergers, Paramount is now known as CBS Television Distribution. This happened within the past 10 years.

for the same reason they're also showing episodes of THE BRADY BUNCH which was on ABC, and STAR TREK and STAR TREK: THE ANIMATED SERIES both of which were on NBC.
