Saturday I went to the state fair with my mom. We shared a red velvet funnel cake with whipping cream & cream cheese frosting, a hamburger for lunch and then we each had our own beignet with powered sugar on top. One order came with 2 beignet's. The food was so good. I love sweets!

Since the past few weekends I haven't even been home, I took today to spend time with my little sister. We went shopping together and then tomorrow we're doing our own horror movie marathon.

Nah, I'm really just going to a concert to see my favorite band, Dream Theater!!! If you've never heard of them, that's OK, they aren't exactly mainstream, but despite that, they still have a huge following. I got VIP so my seat is up near the front(or it might even be front!!) and I get to meet them AGAIN. I've met them quite a few times over the years, and have to say, an amazing bunch of guys, personally and musically. This will be my 28th DT concert!!!:rock:

It's 3rd shift, so if you're over 18 you can work 3rd shift (minors can't work 3rd shift - it's illegal). You get a shift differential just working 3rd shift... that depends on the store, though. Let's just say I'm doing pretty OK right now. :lol: Not even close to minimum wage.

Just relaxing - puttering around the apartment - taking care of chores ....may not sound exciting but low key works for me.

At the library, as usual. It's my Sat. routine, since I have no internet at my house, I use the computers here. Then go home and putt around my house, clean up a bit, which is what I plan to do tomorrow, too!!! I've been cleaning out my bedroom, accumulated alot of clutter, so I'm doing that, throwing away ALOT!!

Good weekend so far. Saw the grandmother yesterday. Today, I typed alot of my hope to be published book (Trinity), studied alot in my drivers manual and had a fish fry with the family. Tomorrow is church. :notworthy:

Today I went to a Red Egg and Ginger party with my mom then we went to Costco, Michael's, Norstrom's and Raley's. Tomorrow just sleeping in and doing laundry.

I have had a nice weekend so far. Stayed the night at my brothers last night, and stayed with him and my niece Cyndel. He was in good spirits being five days clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. It got close to 100 degrees today, and so I rented a motel down by the Sandy river. Don't really have the money to spend on that, but Tom Bodet left the light on for me, and gave me a rebate, so I couldn't refuse. lol I needed to rest my back and neck. Tomorrow I plan on spending some time on the river, going to a few trailer parks with my mom to try and find her a place to live, and I have an appointment for an interview for an apartment. Wish me luck! Should be a good one. I hope you all are having a great weekend too! :)

Saturday - I went out to eat with my dad and we went to see my grandma and played bingo with her at the nursing home. That was really nice because that is one of the many highlights of her day is being able to see us and play bingo so that was cool.

Sunday - My boyfriend and I went down to our local AMC Theater and saw the 2012 remake of Total Recall. I won't give anything away to those who have not seen it yet though I will say that it was good and it has a lot of special effects in it that is certain, though I still prefer the original :)

Hung out with my best friend today. Tomorrow I'm going shopping for a couple things for school and going to finally buy my books for my classes, hoping that I can find some pretty cheap. Then Sunday, one of my friends just had a baby, so I am going to go see her and her new daughter.

Worked Friday night & have to work tonight. I may get Sunday off, not sure though.

It's been a pretty laid back weekend for me. On Thursday, my therapist put me up in a hotel free of charge for a week, to rest my back, and get all of the bad stuff out of my system. Feels so good laying down in a nice bed, and not in a grassy field like I have been doing the last several months. I did go for a nice 20 mile walk this morning, but aside from that, I am just taking it easy. I hope you all had a nice weekend too!

Went to a very nice birthday party for a friend out on Long Island on Saturday. Sunday was just a lazy day in the apt. & I have tomorrow off.

Just got done work. Not doing a whole lot the rest of the weekend as usual. We're thinking of going to a thing tonight called Classic Albums Live where a band performs an album in its entirety. Tonight they're doing Revolver and Rubber Soul from the Beatles!!

Probably go to the library Sat and/or Sun to get on the computer. When I have the money, I go to this amazing cupcake place near my house called Something Sweet. That's usually a Sat.morning thing before I go to the library.

Tonight: nothing going on. Tomorrow afternoon: Toledo Irish Festival.

Got last minute things done for college today. Tomorrow, I'm going over to help my friend out, he and his friend just got a place and I need to help them learn how to grocery shop, cook, clean, basically take care of themselves so I'm taking them shopping and then cooking dinner and then they are taking me and my friends out tomorrow night. Then Sunday, nothing.

Been dealing with a pretty bad RA flareup all week. I'm hoping to do nothing but rest this weekend, Harry willing!

Have 3 days off som,just taking it easy and enjoying the lull...cause work will glare up big time right after Labor Day.

High School football tonight at Disney's Wide World of Sports. Don't know why. ESPN was in our little ole town last week and and televised the game. Wonder if we're going to be televised again. We're playing a team from Philly.:confused: We have the weirdest schedule.

Have a 3 day weekend, although I wish I was working. Don't work, don't get paid, it's as simple as that. So staying home, cleaning the house like I always do.

Tonight: high school football or Toledo Speedway. Rest of weekend: unknown.

Today: went to a birthday party at BJ's for lunch, Norstrom's to buy a few Christmas gifts for my little cousins, Bed, Bath & Beyond to have a wedding gift wrapped, and Trader Joe's.
Tomorrow: going to Anthropologie to see what they have on sale, to the grocery store and to see what fruits they have at the farmer's market.

I went to the Toledo Speedway. On Sunday of this week, me, my brother, and his girlfriend went to a festival in Port Clinton, Ohio. Last night, the three of us went to a demolition derby at the Fulton County Fair.

I have to work s lot over the weekend & a lot of hrs next. And a good chance a lot of that in October. But I plan to unwind here and there so I don't get burned out.

Today I went to my nephew's soccer game, Norstrom's Rack to see what kind of watches they had, and went grocery shopping at Costco, Sunflower, and Smart and Final. Tomorrow is my other nephew's birthday party. His real birthday was Thursday and he turned 4. We're celebrating at a gymnastics place in West Sacramento.

Saturday 9/15 - I didn't do much just stayed home and did some cleaning around here. We were having people over later so I wanted to get the condo looking presentable.

Sunday 9/16 - Today is my dad's birthday so my brother and I are going to see him and we're all going to grill out later. :)

Today my mom and I went to Apple Hill which is an hour away from where we live. We bought apple doughnuts, apple turnovers, apple butter and an apple personal pie. We ate the doughnuts and some of the turnovers. They were so good. We haven't tried the pie yet. Then we drove home and saw a play that my mom's friend's son was in and went grocery shopping after the play. We got dinner from Happy Corner which is a chinese restaurant and is nearby the grocery store. Tomorrow not doing a whole lot just chores around the house. I'm off on Monday so I have to go to get some blood work done, open up a 401k for myself, get my cousin a gift card from BJ's or Spaghetti Factory for her birthday, and go to Costco.

Have to go on a one day business trip Saturday? Busy getting my stuff together now. Might have to to work a half day on Sun. Too. My job can really have CRAZY hrs. - but I really do like my job and am very grateful to have one in this economy.

I will probably go over to the Athletic Field here at school and watch the Boys Varsity Soccer game on Friday. Saturday I have a study group in the library and Sunday I will relax and maybe do a little studying.

Just finished a week full of exams, so mostly sleeping this weekend. Tomorrow I have one class and then a dinner get together with some relatives. Then saturday I have a Halloween Party to go to. The rest of the time is devoted to sleep.

There is suppose to be a Hurricane coming my way this weekend. Hurricane Sandy is her name. So I will be stuck in my house all weekend probably.

Working Saturday and Sunday. Might be going out with a friend tonight. Also going to a party tomorrow night and laundry and reading to get done as well.

This weekend should be better than last weekend. The baby had a fever all last weekend and was cranky as hell. She is doing much better now so that means maybe a little quality sleep for me.

Getting over Sandy. Lost power Monday night and it just came on earlier this evening. Wonderful having the juice back. Just tok a nice hot bath, which I've been dying to do. Nevertheless, I am lucky this is all I lost; so many people lost much much more.

I helped with Sandy volunteer efforts today in New Dorp area of Staten Island. Delivering meals to inbound folks. Tonight relaxing with some Leave It To Beaver DVDs. Tomorrow I plan to have a lazy day.

Not doing much tonight, staying home, maybe drink a couple wine coolers and watch TV.

Sat. - Going to the Citrus Bowl parade, they usually book some of the best bands in the country, which is mainly why I'm going. Also, Univ.of GA and Univ. of Neb. bands are going to be there!! Then after the parade, we have a couple tickets to Disney that expire on Mon. so we're going to MGM Studios. I love that park, especially the Tower of Terror!!:rock:

Sun. - working. Yay.

Sat. did laundry, went to a Weight Watchers meeting, and met some friends for dinner. Tomorrow just a lazy day vegging out.

I'll probably do some volunteer work for Sandy on Saturday and just vege out Sunday and Monday.

Today was just a lazy day hanging out with friends and running errands. Tomorrow may go into the office for a little bit.
