Could the show had worked out if steve urkle was a female they could have called her stefine urkle and she would be in love with eddie, but eddie would not like her and she would be constantly chasing after him each episode for 9 seasons.

Remember Steve in drag when he played the nerdy female cousin? She was always chasing Eddie around when she came for a visit.

Exactly, there already was a female Urkel, Steve's cousin Myrtle, who was in love with Eddie.

Sure, there was Myrthle Urkel. But could she have become the star of the show? I don't know...

myrthle was not even close to being nerdy she was bit needy and desperate like some women are that cant find a good man in their life so she kept harassing eddie constantly when he turned her down numerous times in the series, eddie might have dated her but she looked to much like a man in a dress yuck lol, i am talking about a female version of steve she would have her hair in a ponytail an annoying high voice and be very clumsy breaking stuff and wear thick glasses they could have had another actress play her she could have been steve's younger sister.

LOL Yeah in real life she was a man in a bad looking dress no woman on this planet would wear the kind of clothes myrthle was wearing unless they were blind lol, on the fantasy world of Family Matters she was born a female that looks like a boy, I will never understand why jaleel white would put himself into humiliation for the rest of his life by being a guy who likes to dress in women's clothing for a cheap paycheck alot of people in the 90's use to think he was gay.

I don't think he was humiliated much. If he was, I don't think the character would have been brought back. Plus, he only did a few times out of all the episodes in the series.

As for Jaleel playing the part, he actually did refuse to do it for years after he did it the first time, because he was afraid of getting teased.

I thought he looked better as a female when he was little kid then he did when he was grown man in the last season jaleel had grown taller and his neck was kinda long lol
