After a string of misfortunes -- a label change, poor reviews and a brawl with Drake -- Chris Brown's Fortune actually managed to top the Billboard 200.

Brown's fifth studio album sold 134,000 copies in its first week, a significant drop from the 270,000 in debut-week sales of his previous album, 2011's F.A.M.E. Thanks to an 99 cent deal on Amazon, Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" re-entered the top 10 and climbed to No. 2.

Perhaps even more surprising is that Adele's 21 fell to No. 9 in its 72nd straight week in the top 10. Adele's sophomore album is now tied with Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill for the most weeks in the top 10 for an album by a woman.

I am almost embarrassed to be a us citizen.:( I can not stand Chris Brown. He should be in prison, after what he did to Rhianna. And i don't care for his music at all.

I guess the Huffington Post has nothing better to report about.

I agree, I can't stand him, either. This proves yet again the sorry state of music in the US.

I guess the R&B/hip-hop industry and its music fans can forgive their own who do stupid and criminal things quicker if they make a show of redeeming themselves, but I don't get why he continues to be so popular and get tons of awards and praise. He can't really sing so he relies on Autotune and dancing to make up for lack of talent. The majority of his songs are boring. I'll just assume as long as its flashy, people will eat it up.

It honestly makes me sick. I mean everybody deserves to be forgiven, because God forgives us. But that does not mean that you forget what they have done. And I really doubt that he has changed. But besides all that I don't like his music or the lyrics.
