Has Jay Johnson done much since Soap? I know I saw him with Bob on an episode of That 70's Show, but that seems to be all.

Johnson always reminded me a LOT of Mark Hamill, of Star Wars fame.

He does look really good for his age, which I think is around 56 or so?

The puppet is not Bob, but Bob Jr. Bob died in 1987 of a massive overdose. The Medical Examiner stated that his system contained cocaine, alcohol, and trace elements of Pledge and floor wax. Upon his death, he was unhirable, being reduced to free shows for bums in the park, and being a sideshow freak at a carnival. Bob dabbled in Scientology but broke the e-meter.

People in Hollywood hated him, especially his fellow non human actors. The most scathing was a Kermit the Frog in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in the 1990's."

The original "Bob" puppet featured on "Soap" was inducted into the Smithsonian Institutions collections of pop culture icons in May 2007 . Jay Johnson currently uses a replica of Bob for "The Two and Only" and other appearances . We should've known you couldn't keep somebody as talented as Jay Johnson out of the spotlight .
