"It's only a half of season"

I would be content just seeing those in syndication one day on Me-TV or Antenna TV since it's not a full season. When I buy any season on DVD from the past I like to make it a all day event and 13 eps would be around 5/6 hours:lol:

So I guess you can say I'm waiting for one or the other to happen when it comes to season 5 but rooting more for ONE than the other.

Picked up by Antenna TV or Me-TV..........fingers crossed

OR

Released on DVD by Shout if they the copies from FOX

This show really needed a finale in my opinion

The show was funny enough for a 7 or 8 year run. I;m about to wrap up season 4 and I still feel the show is very fun to watch and didn't miss a beat after Joe left.

I can see that being a issue when it aired on Network TV because as a fan you would be disappointed but for those of us who watched on DVD or syndication it's not a huge issue.

Kind of like Jim and Dwight leaving the Office after last season which would make most fans not watch. But for those who watch the show 30 years from now wouldn't care and still watch every episode.

Still very funny Sonny. To me the show didn't miss a beat after Joe left and seeing Ida come back was a treat and Brenda and Rhoda were still funny. I like Jack, and Gary but not too crazy about

Well I'm glad you liked it. I liked it for the most part and it is great seeing someone talk about Rhoda again.

I just think that viewers had invested so much TV time on the character, that it deserved a final wrap up.

My favorite episode of season 4 is "Blind Date". So far it's only ONE episode that's edited and I have 4 more to go:lol:

I think maybe if they would have started with Rhoda being single in NY and dating and then meeting Joe and taking it slow, it would have done a lot better. She could have married him in the second or third season. I think if they never divorced the show probably would have ran 7 or 8 years.

Is this the 1st show to feature an actual divorce?

Yea I agree. the last 4 episodes weren't even aired on CBS. Viewers had to wait until the show went into syndication.

That's a good question. I'm not sure. I know that there were divorced characters on tv before but I'm not sure if they showed them getting divorced. There might have been a few in daytime.

I know it was dramatic. They built this couple up and made America fall in love with them and 2 years later they tear them apart, out of the blue.

They were able to write for Bob and Emily who had no kids for 6 years so why couldn't the writers for this show write for Joe and Rhoda?

I know. It didn't make much sense. How hard can it be? lol

Good question, my guess is because Rhoda was already established as this neurotic woman.
