WTF he is talking about? Romo has only won ONE PLAYOFF game in his career and he the master of interceptions in the redzone while Eli has went on the road twice and reached the SB.

Eli performs at GB and San Fran and beat Tom Brady and now Toomer says he is not better than romo?? Amani needs to be DRUG TESTED

He is better in the regular season. most of the time. Not last year he wasn't though.Tonys problem is he's very green. He's great if winning. But gives up if he's getting beat.Eli keeps trying. That's why he wins playoff games.Even though i am still shocked. He has won 2 super bowls.I picked against him both times and, would again lol

They went head to head twice last year and Eli won both times and out performed Romo and that fool gets on the radio and praises Romo like he has accomplished something=lol

When the Cowboys beat the Eagles in January of 2010 in the Wildcard game, I thought that was the turning point of Romo's career but he went backwards again

Don't jinx us Brian. RG3 hasn't taken a snap yet. Romo's a very good QB, he puts up excellent numbers every season. He and the team just got to win games and get far in the playoffs that's all. Romo is definitely in the Cowboy's Hall of Fame right now. He broke some records like Staubach and Aikman made. So you have to give him his due.

As far as my man RG3, I don't expect a Cam Newton performance, but it sure would be nice. He will definitely take his lumps this year.

Thanks GARFIELDKOOL. Romo is a good QB. I'd put him in the top 10. It hasn't been all his fault that the Cowboys haven't been able to win playoff games. Seriously I think some of our players are some of the biggest idiots in the game. lol Romo's biggest problem is that he seems to go into meltdown mode when he makes a mistake. I watch Flacco almost every week. He is a good QB but I still have Romo rated higher .Flacco does have a habit of just vanishing in games. If The Cowboys had a defense like the Ravens they would have done more. I'm still angry at that defense for the way they folded down the stretch. Some of the worse defense I've ever seen in Dallas.

Romo was given one last chance to perform at the end of the season and failed. So he is someone I can't take seriously until he shows me he can perform in big game situations. Now a large part of it was our defense but it was some games that Romo lost on his own like against the Jets.

Yea I'm not excusing what he did in that Jets game or that Lions game....although I blame Garrett just as much because you don't throw around the ball like that when you have a 27-7 lead. I can't really blame Romo for the Giants loss. He brought us back and that defense couldn't stop me. lol That Cardinals game and that Patriots game, I blame more on the head coach. I'm not saying I've been happy with Romo. Everyone knows I've yelled about him through the years, it's just that some of these other Cowboy players and coaches just suck. I agree though that you're only remembered for what you do in the playoffs and he hasn't been able to will his team to victory like I think Eli has. Time is clearly running out on him during the next couple years and as far as Cowboy QBs go, I still rank him at #5 behind, Staubach, Aikman, Meredith and White.

It's getting to be that I don't even care that much about the early season. Even last year, when they got off to a good start, I thought lets see how they do after Thanksgiving. Sure enough they folded again. The Cowboy teams of yore never folded late in the season. That's when legends are made. I think a lot of it is in their heads now. In the regular season.I would put Romo ahead of a lot of qbs. It's just when the pressure is on.He kind of shuts down.I would love to see him kick both the giants and eagles butts this year. Also the Cowboys problems have not been all Romos. The problem with the Cowboys is they make to many changes. They have no chemistry.Other than between Romo and Witten.

That being said i am a die hard Greenbay Packers fan.I never thought we would be able to replace Favre. But we have came as close as we possibly could.Aaron Rogers is my fav Qb and not just because he plays for my fav team but because he's the best.

I give him a slight edge over Brees.Because he can make plays with his feet.He moves a lot better in the pocket then Brees does.Garfield i agree if we would of still had the same defence in place last year .That we had the year we won the super bowl.We would of no doubt repeated.

Ok, Cowboys Ring of Honor or whatever you call it. Most franchises have a HOF, so I figured Dallas called theirs the same thing. A little off topic, I would put Jason Witten in the Cowboys Ring of Honor as well. Sometimes in professional sports, you just have to be very good or great reguardless if you win a championship to get that honor. Hell, I'm surprised Drew Pearson isn't in the Cowboys HOF! I agree, with you both some times stats are enough. Two cases for players who haven't won a championship. But are deffinatley great enough to make it in the hall of fame.Randy Moss and Chris Carter. To me there is only one reciever ever who is better than those two.And that's the great Jerry Rice.

Jimmy Johnson should have been in there years ago!
They just put Drew in there last fall along with Larry Allen and Charles Haley. I think Jerry Jones is the holdup with Jimmy. He might have only been a Cowboy for 5 years but what he built was a dynasty. The Cowboys have always been slow with putting their legends in the Ring. Tex Schramm was in the NFL HOF for years before he went in the Ring of Honor and he died before the ceremony even took place. :ohno: I think Jason Witten will get in. I think Romo might get in but I think if he does then Danny White should too.

Here are the members of the ROH. There are only 20 of them.

Bob Lilly, Don Meredith, Don Perkins, Chuck Howley, Mel Renfro, Roger Staubach, Lee Roy Jordan, Tom Landry, Tony Dorsett, Randy White, Bob Hayes, Tex Schramm, Cliff Harris, Rayfield Wright, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Drew Pearson, Charles Haley & Larry Allen

I agree, a good example of that would be Mcnabb, lead the Eagles to the playoff 5 straight years and 4 straight NFC Championship appearances and the most wins as a Eagles QB.

Romo has not done anything close to that so he has a LONG WAY to go at his old age. Mcanbb did all of that when he was in his 20's

McNabb is definitely in Eagles HOF, but I see him as an NFL Hall of Famer as well. He did lead the Eagles to a SB. I know McNabb played against my team for years and beat us for most of them, but I get mad when people crap on him for what he hasn't done because he had a great career, the only thing he hasn't done is win a SB, but you cannot deny he's had a great career.

Mcnabb was a great player and,i think he will make it into the hall of fame.At a time he was one of the best qbs in the nfl.And really until he was traded by the Eagles in favor of Vick.He was one of the best.Hopefully he will play well this year. But last 2 years he's stunk it up big time.

They have a thread on the Zone right now asking who should be the next Cowboy in the ROH. Most are saying no to Danny White. I bet if I said that Romo shouldn't be in if Danny isn't, I'd get attacked. lol

I don't think he should get in just because he came to philly and lost at the VET. I had that game on tape about 6 years ago and ended up throwing it away LOL

I think if it wasn't for that lucky "catch" in that 49er game, he would have been looked at differently. There's no doubt in my mind that the Cowboys would have beaten the Bengals in that SB. I think that was the last great Landry team. They fielded some good teams the next couple years but I never felt they were all that great.

Something that is not mentioned about that game is that AFTER the catch, the Cowbys had 50 seconds left to get in FG range and Danny throw a nice pass to Pearson to get to mid-field with a lot of time left. Then I think a OL missed his block and Danny was sacked and fumbled

Or was it that the receiver who caught the nice pass at midfield who fumbled?

Yea Danny fumbled the ball and that cemented his reputation in Dallas. The next year they made it to the title game and Gary Hogeboom replaced Danny and played well and that set up a QB competition the following year. The worse thing Landy could do...he listened to the fans Gary Hogeboom was terrible. lol

2 reasons why Danny is not at full blame

1. They could have ran the ball on the next play to throw the defense off

2. The Offensive Lineman missed his block which led to the sack

Oh I agree. And Danny did win some big playoff games. When we were moving the ball in that game, I thought we had a great chance to win because I've seen him do it before.

Contrast that to Romo. I never have confidence that he's going to win a big playoff game. More often then not, The Cowboys get blown out of them. lol

No way! that was a great Vikings team.Who just bairly lost out to winning themselves a super bowl. They out played the edventual champion saints in every way possible.Except on the score board.I know because i was following the vikings that year.Because they had my fav player Brett Favre.

LOL Yeah,it was a wonderful thing to see on that day.Everyone in my family was picking Cowboys but me.:) It ended up just getting my hopes up though. So,i was even more dissapointed.Just like when Favre threw that interception in the finals against the giants. When he was still playing for the Packers.

I knew they were going to lose. They thought they had accomplished something beating the Eagles. Always underachievers. The only team under Romo that I thought had a great shot at the SB was the 2007 team and that team was the biggest disappointment in Cowboys history.

No that was the year that Tony and Jessica went on their big vacation and Wade declared we won a playoff game because we had a bye. lol The team was fading down the stretch some that year too but earlier in the year the Cowboys were dominating.
