do my Friday Spotlight Single for last week. This week's Friday Spotlight
Single is 99 by Toto. It was the first single released from the group's 1979
album Hydra and was written by Keyboard player David Paich and sung by
Guitarist Steve Lukather. It entered the Hot 100 the week of December 22,
1979 at #85 and peaked at #26 during a 17-week run on the chart.
