Nice cast reunion 7 years later and Jan and Marcia getting married. My cable would constantly cut off but I saw most of it.

Too Bad ABC cancelled the show.

I vaguely remember seeing that show. Wonder if it's on DVD? I'd love to see it again.

It threw me off for a second because the opening was similar to the original show and I thought I was watching show:lol:

The show aired on NBC, got decent ratings and was on at a time when NBC was really in the ratings dumpster--never understood why it wasn't renewed for a second season.

The Incredible Hulk probably had more viewers on Friday night

Oh I'm sure it did, but NBC chose to renew Harper Valley, the lead-in. So who knows. I do know that Sherwood Schwartz left Harper before the second season--maybe he was pissed NBC didn't renew The Brady Brides?

Wonder how the Bradys would have done on a school/work night since the sitcom was always on a friday night and never cracked the top 30 ranking.

Jerry Houser (Wally Logan) played a big help in saving Maureen McCormick's life. He was and still is a strong Christian, and besides offering Maureen a shoulder to lean on and a sympathetic ear, he took her to his church one day. Her life changed dramatically, as she began to wean herself off cocaine and busied herself with newfound faith church functions. In fact, it was at a concert at that church that she met Michael Cummings, who has been her husband since 1985. She said that if it hadn't been for Jerry Houser, she never would've met her real-life husband. You can read more about this in Maureen's book:

I was sold on the idea of Eve Plumb playing a young bride -- probably because I fantasized about taking her to the altar myself...! :)

'The Brady Brides' was a cross between 'The Brady Bunch' and 'The Odd Couple'. I loved the episode where they appeared on 'The Newlywed Game'.

The Newlywed Game episode seems to be the episode of The Brady Brides that everyone likes and/or just seems to remember.
