Cassidy's California-based publicist Jo-Ann Geffen, in an email sent to Vegas Confidential on Thursday, said his fans "are owed an explanation for what happened."

She said Cassidy, 62, "was not feeling well and made the mistake of combining cold medication, which he needed for his voice, and cortisone (for eczema which he gets every time he comes to Las Vegas).

"He was so out of it from the combination that he thought he would pass out and, the next day, didn't even know there had been a problem until he was told," she said.

I'm sorry this happened and I hope he recovers quickly.

btw, I look forward to the day when I see a post from you that doesn't involve something negative about David Cassidy.

I am not making this guy get DUI's and forgetting the words to songs. I am all for an intervention.

No, but you do dwell exclusively, on the negative side of one celebrity's life. It's obviously your right to dislike the man, but I think it would be much healthier to post something positive, at least once in a while.

If you can't think of anything positive to say about David Cassidy, that's fine. Any topic will do.

This poor guy is going batsh*t. I wonder if he's bipolar or something.
