In similar respects to how Yo Yogi killed off the Yogi Bear franchise up until the live-action movie nearly 20 years later. I mean, other than the Radio Shack commercials I believe, there really hasn't been anything done w/ the Jetsons property since 1990 (even though we keep hearing about plans for a live-action Jetsons movie). Up until that point, The Jetsons was you can argue, enjoyed a new wave success and popularity w/ the '80s, first-run syndicated revival (and to a much lesser extent the Space Stars animated series featuring Astro) and two Hanna-Barbera Superstars 10 TV movies. Really, Scooby-Doo is the only "classic" Hanna-Barbera franchise that Warner Bros. has continued to do anything with today.
