HBO Renews "The Newsroom"

HBO has renewed freshman series "The Newsroom".

"The Newsroom", starring Jeff Daniels, takes a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of a fictional cable news network. Last week's premiere debuted to 2.1 million viewers to post HBO's third-best series premiere since 2008.
