View Full Version : Favorite current network for Sitcoms?
Buffyboy323 07-02-2012, 02:06 AM As of Summer 2012, which network is your current favorite for sitcoms/comedies? Which shows do you watch? (Sorry if I'm missing any)
CBS: Two and a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, The Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly, 2 Broke Girls.
ABC: Modern Family, The Middle, Happy Endings, Suburgatory, The B**** In Apartment 23.
NBC: The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Community, Up All Night.
FOX: New Girl, Raising Hope.
hawkeye123 07-02-2012, 03:35 AM Abc but mostly just because of Modern Family.Other whise Cbs or Nbc.I'm not sure what ch Glee is on either .But i like that show quite a bit.
ABC's wednesday night comedy line-up is the one I like best. But I also like some of the other networks comedy shows.
I'm voting for Antenna TV and Me-TV because even their worst stuff is better than anything on the so-called Big 4 networks.
Schmoopie 07-04-2012, 01:16 AM Probably Hallmark at the moment.
EmoJoe 07-06-2012, 12:59 AM It's been NBC for me for a long time...but ABC and FOX are rapidly approaching them. They've premiered a lot of excellent shows the past few years while NBC's last great new sitcom was Community in 2009. Still, the strength of NBC's veteran shows keep it at #1 for the moment.
Big3sCompanyFan 07-06-2012, 10:01 AM There is no good network for new sitcoms!
It's the re-runs that are the best!
Ihavealife2uknow 07-06-2012, 04:26 PM Probably ABC. Right now I only watch The B**** In Apartment 23 but I've been really wanting to check out Modern Family. Other than that the only other current running sitcoms I watch right now are The Office and Baby Daddy (ABC Family).
Mr. Television 07-06-2012, 07:53 PM CBS followed by ABC.
Most current sitcoms I watch are on cable.
LUNCH 07-09-2012, 11:57 AM I'm voting for Antenna TV and Me-TV because even their worst stuff is better than anything on the so-called Big 4 networks.
Very true. I'll have to go with only Antenna-TV though since I still don't get Me-TV.

Yes! While I unfortunately don't have access to Antenna TV, I can certainly say that for MeTV, which IMO is about as good or even better now than TV Land ever was.

I agree 100%, Joe. I watch at least one Sitcom on each network, but because 30 Rock is my favorite (and still the best, IMO), NBC gets my vote. Unless NBC gets a new show this Fall that I'll love, I can't see it as my favorite once 30 Rock wraps.
1. 30 Rock (NBC)
2. The B**** In Apartment 23 (ABC)
3. New Girl (FOX)
4. 2 Broke Girls (CBS)
5. The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
6. Up All Night (NBC)
7. The Office (NBC)
BigManMike 07-09-2012, 07:44 PM CBS. I like Two and a Half Men, Mike and Molly, and the Big Bang Theory. I don't really like any of the shows on the other networks. I mostly watch Antenna TV and occasionally MeTV.
Will and Grace Fanatic 07-11-2012, 12:05 PM I voted ABC since I like alot of their sitcoms but really I watch sitcoms on alot of channels including cable.
On network tv I watch, Mike and Molly, Big Bang Theory, Suburbia, Modern Family, and New Girl. On cable I must say I love United States of Tara.
