GARFIELDKOOL 07-01-2012, 08:31 PM A lot of black star holdovers from the 70s I noticed as well. Kelsey Grammar (Frasier) was on here too. Isabelle Sanford may as well should have appeared on here since most Jeffersons cast appeared. Esther Rolle should have came, and while we are at it, Janet Dubois would have fit right in. Redd Foxx was doing the The Redd Foxx show on ABC and he had personal problems, but I still wanted to see him on here and Amen.

Redd Foxx show only lasted a year which still left 1987-1990, plus he was starring in his own show in 1991.

Trust me. I know. I thought I could escape it but got caught like everybody else. LOL.
T.K. Carter is another special guest. I don't think that one was on your list so I'll go with it.

I didn't list him because he was not all that major. I think he only starred in one failed sitcom
But I loved his movie.........."He's my Girl" LOL

That's cause you put her character name and I was looking for her real name

It's not so much "major" but more "recognizable". Some of the people that we mentioned were not humongous stars but well recognized ones. We all saw him on "Good Times", of course. Now, T.K. Carter had some juice back in the 80's. He did the shows "Punky Brewster", "Good Morning Miss Bliss" (aka Saved by the Bell), "Sinbad Show", "Jem". He had a huge resume.
Now, I loved that movie "He's my girl". My favorite scene was when he was "Regina" pretending to seduce that evil character and then pulled his wig off and said "That's right! I'm a man brother!"

I know, where does Solomon get off by saying that?! TK Carter is a famous character actor with a great resume, that's major enough for us viewers. He should have stated that from the beginning, because that's taking credit away from what you dug up, ThomasE.
