Good news Celtics fans. The Boston Celtics, have resigned. The rejuvinated Kevin Garnett. For 3 more years. They also picked up a much needed center in the first round of the draft.Along with a power forward.Celtics Should be right back in contention this year.I still think the only reason. They lost was the injuries to Pierce and Allen. And the lack of any bench once so ever.Even to a lesser extant. The loss of Jermaine Oneal. That being said congratulations to Miami enjoy it while it lasts.

With all due respect to Garnett, but he's showed his age these last few years. Resigning a 36 year-old power forward who relies on an inconsistant jump shot is beyond me. During the eastern conference finals aganist the Heat, I was yelling at Garnett to take it strong inside, which he failed to do. But, I am not a Celtic fan, I was pulling for them, but they got to get younger around these veterans if they want to continue to contend.

I am a huge Celtics fan.I will admit though Kevin Garnett isn't what he once was.He did play a lot closer to what he used to be this year though.I think Garnett has a few good seasons left great probably not.But good he's still at least a 10 and 10 guy.Better than that most nights. They got younger with the draft. They picked up a center and a power forward in the first round. They still need to do some work in free agency though.Bolstering there non excistant bench. What Garnett and Pierce pulled together through out this season was very admirable to me.

I agree, but they should have really took it to the Heat. There were some bad officiating calls, but they were missing an inside presence. Like the Thunder, they relied too much on outside shots. Though the Celtics were more physical. The key to beating the Heat is to force them to foul you.

I couldn't agree more.I'm hoping this new center they got is a bruiser. But i haven't really did a lot of research on him yet.A guy that's available though.Who is a hard nosed power forward is Luis Scola from the Rockets.

Celtics close to a deal with Jason Terry. That would be a very nice pick up.Especally if they are able to hold on to Ray Allen.

Celtics lost Ray Allen and they shouldn't have resigned Kevin Garnett because he needs to retire. Paul Pierce needs to retire also. The Celtics are gonna be bad for awhile. Doc Rivers might stop coaching them after next season i think. Doc Rivers daughter is hot. I saw her at the NBA draft last week when his son got drafted by the Hornets.

I have never heard such ridicoulas non sense in my life. You don't have a clue what you are talking about.Paul Pierce is still one of the best players in the nba.Garnett has slowed down slightly but he's still better than most.Doc Rivers isn't going anywhere.I think the celtics have got better since last season.Even with the loss of Ray Allen. They replaced him with Jason Terry.Which is virtually a wa*****hey also added a center and a power forward in the first round of the draft.Yeah, they are going to be bad. What a joke. They only almost won a championship. With 2 of there stars being injured.
