The Rerun Dance was connected to Soul Train and where it originated from. Watching a Biography of Soul Train right now and seeing clips of Rerun and his dancers on Soul Train before what's happening was even thought about-lol

BTW: Don Cornelious said he didn't like the Rerun dance at first because he thought it was TOO CRAZY LOOKING since he wasn't used to LA Dancers

I watched that same documentary as well. I loved watching it over and over again. I saw Rerun dancing on ST. LOL. How cool I thought it was.

I personally never liked the dance because I thought it was corny. One-dimensional type of dance that involves Rerun jumping up and down in the air

It may have been one-dimensional but who cares? Rerun entertained me and others with it, he got down, and many others couldn't even come close to moving how he did, especially people who were nowhere near his weight. Rerun (Fred Berry get props from me) Give credit where credit is due

I just keep waiting for him to do something else but it was just a ongoing jumping in the air with the locking of the arms-lol

Tell Solomon that. He's expecting too much from someone who could do so much. I come to the realization that you are good at what you do, and you do it well.

I enjoyed Rerun's dancing as well. The audience went wild when it was time for him to dance. Roger's dance was just for laughs only. Luckily, he didn't do it that often as it would have been staled out. I am glad they kept it as a running gag. I would have paid him money to get me to dance like that and I am not even no where near his weight.

It was great when you saw him dance for the 1st time but after a while the dance got old:lol:

It became so repetitive since he constantly would just jump up in the air and pop lock. I was like...."ok rerun do you have some other moves???

For me it was impressive to see someone his size being so limber.
