I miss Guiding Light...and As the World Turns... Wish it could have celebrated its 60th Anniversary...

That's a shame that they didn't let it run until it's 60th Anniversary. That would have been a fitting way to end the show; with a retrospective of 60 years. What an amazing run for a series so I'm sure that this anniversary is bittersweet for the cast members.

yes it is sad......at least some of its past is being preserved on DVDs.
