But watching it now in my 30's I can see he was only around 39/40 when the show first started. I thought he was like 55 when I watched it years ago. Maybe it was that old man voice he had.

I wonder if he was playing the part of a OLDER MAN and made his voice sound like that on purpose?

I think at times he had that take change sound in his voice because he was suppose to be a person of authority. But I don't think he he had an old mans voice.

Ok 13, I knew I was middle school because he reminded me of my teacher who scared me into getting straight A's lol
