BENSON and cancelled the show in June of 2006. But now that the world of Digital TV has emerged and giving life to all the old sitcoms, I will have another chance to sample this show in the fall and this is a WONDERFUL pickup for Antenna TVparty:

The blog below confirms the show started on TV Land in June of 2006. And like I said it didn't last the entire month.

This is great news. Benson is a very good show and it does start getting more interesting, but you know, we have to get past Season 1 first before it can happen. :p

7pm to 11pm or 12am to 1am

I hope it's not shown in the morning

You are correct. I remember recording some episodes during that time and being frustrated because they only aired one or 2 episodes every Sunday.

With the way TV Land aired it, it's a wonder anyone caught it though. I believe it aired for a while on Friday nights and they moved it. I was able to see most of the episodes only because I'm obsessive when I get into new shows and paid attention to the online tv listings everyday.

They must have pulled the show and then aired it again because I remember being mad I couldn't sample the show

It's in a beautiful spot for the spring and summer but not for the Fall

12am is cool but I watch sunday night football at that time or sportscenter

I;m usually not in sitcom mode on football sundays.
