I only remember him dancing ONCE on Amen and it was at Thelma's wedding when the actor who played Riley was trying to stop himself from laughing

I had it saved on youtube but the episode was deleted

I know two of the shows from Amen where he dances......well besides the talent show episodes. The episode where Reuben leaves the church to go to California. Another is the episode with MC Hammer. Oh and the one with Reuben's niece. :) Sorry I don't know the titles of the episodes. :(

Don't forget the episode where he did the James Brown Skit. He also danced when Reuben's aunt came to town and he took her out.

I said that one. That was the first talent show episode, but he did start to do the James Brown act again in the very last episode.......until the REAL James Brown came up. :)
Best way to see him dance were usually the ones where the choir played.

Oh yeah, guys, did you think of the show where he did "The Deacon"? He started his own daycare and to keep the kids entertained they did their dance. Just came to me. :)

Every time I see Sherman dancing, I lose it. This has to rank up there with the time he danced in that red tux with Helen on The Jeffersons. :jig:

A little off topic, but had a lot of Jeffersons stars on here, Roxie roker, Franklin Cover, Berlinda Tolbert, hell even Hal Williams was a frequent guest. but Like I stated in another thread, 227 was really full of norman lear
's holdovers.

Nope she was never on 227. You might have her confused with Bever-Leigh Banfield or Vanessa Bell Calloway because they looked similar, especially in the 80's.
