At least the network didn't announce the show's cancellation. I hope the new time slot works out...

What's happening with The Chew and the other show that replaced OLTL?

In case anyone was wondering, in most markets, Katie Couric's new talk show will be going in at 3PM. It will be on at 4PM on my station though... not sure what we're doing with 3PM yet.
I don't follow soaps much, but I'm curious: while the network creates a "master schedule," if you will, isn't the daytime schedule ultimately up to the affiliates? I know that many stations will clear the schedule as the network mandates, but that daytime schedules have traditionally been full of pre-emptions.
