View Full Version : Cindy wasn't really clumsy
GARFIELDKOOL 06-23-2012, 11:03 PM Jack was more in the way. It was just unfortunate that Jack was the victim, besides, Cindy was just going her way, and Jack just happen to be in the way.......besides Cindy didn't know she was going to hit anyone. I get tired of seeing Cindy being protrayed as the clumsey one....she didn't know!

It is strange how Janet wasn't the victim more often. She was a hand full of times, but it was mostly Jack and Mr. Furley.

She was clumsy, did you forget how she always knocked sh*t down by an accident and once ran over janet and terri:lol:

Yes, but mostly when it came to Jack, he just happen to be in the way. That clumsiness only worked when Cindy barged in and knocked out that dude with the gun who held the other roomates hostage. Again, even that guy was in the way of the door, Cindy just opened it.

It was a episode when she was cleaning Jack's room and knocked over his lamp
It was a episode when she spilled a drink on Larry
It was a episode when she messed up a birthday cake in the kitchen
Do I need to go on?
TwinBrother 09-19-2012, 11:16 PM People might think I am crazy for saying this, but I think they should have left Jennilee Harrison on the show. She provided ditsiness that was gone after Suzanne left the show. The Terri character, although funny, was too serious and too together to make up totally for Suzanne's departure. I also think Jennilee is underrated as a physical comedienne. No other woman did the physical comedy better than her on the show. I think keeping her on would have helped with the ratings slide that took place after Suzanne left. :)

I disagree there. I love Terri. I love that she wasn't a clone of Chrissy and that they didn't feel the need to make another dumb blonde. Terri filled the gap enough in that she was a bit quirky and silly, without being dumb. The dumb thing got old.
As for Jennilee...agh, I hate to spew any negativity because she's sweet enough, but I never cared for her acting skills. It was just too...overdone? She played off of John nicely enough, but the acting ruined it for me. I never felt like she belonged with Jack and Janet the way Chrissy or Terri did. I guess it might also have something to do with the fact that she was much younger, too.

I liked Terri too. But there was a gap that was never filled after Suzanne left.
robyrob 09-20-2012, 09:46 AM Chrissy was definitely clumsy on her own - but throw Jack in the mix and its a train wreck.
I liked both Terri and Jenni-Lee characters, although when she first started on the show (and this was watching it in the original run) I thought Terri was too mean to Jack and took awhile to win me over (and I know others as well).

I didn't like Cindy because she was too tall:lol:

How old do you have to be to play a roomate?

She was ten years younger than John Ritter and 12 years younger than Joyce Dewitt
She was in college age at the time

Well it worked for an entire season. Season 5 had some of the funniest episodes. ;)

I don't know where your facts are coming from, bruh, but she is nine years younger than Joyce and ten years younger than John. Joyce is younger than John.
Anyway, I agree that she was too young. It's not that the roommates had to be any certain age, it just made sense if they were all close in age. Ten-ish years is a bit of a gap. At that point they're not really peers, and I think that was a big point to the show.

I was thinking about Suzanne LOL
TwinBrother 09-20-2012, 10:21 PM Supposedly they had looked at something like 3,000 girls before they found Jenilee Harrison.

Jenilee played great with John. Their scenes together was always funny.
I wish Three's a Crowd would have been Jack, Cindy, and Larry. That would have been a much funnier show.

I agree. Chrissy was my favorite of the blondes.
But I thought Cindy was better than Teri.
