"Sad to pass along the news from Jerry Kupicent that game show producer Steve Friedman lost his battle with lung cancer last night. From Chuck Barris' original incarnation of "Dating Game" to "Treasure Hunt","Bargain Hunters","High Rollers" and others, our community has lost one of the good guys. Although our paths crossed on a pilot for "Slingo", I knew that I was working with a beloved and talented pro.Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends".
