Zooey Deschanel Signs On As First Season 9 Celebrity Judge on "So You Think You Can Dance"

"New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel is "So You Think You Can Dance's" first celebrity judge of Season 9. She'll be joining the show for its 200th episode when this year's Top 20 contestants are introduced on Wednesday, June 27.
FOX confirmed the news to Zap2it on Thursday (June 21).
Zooey will join regular judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy behind the judges' table. This will be her first stint as a judge for the show.
