View Full Version : Will Warner Archive re=release - Night Court Seasons 4 and 5 - with pressed discs ? o.o604 06-20-2012, 06:20 PM Since seaosn 6 initial run will be pressed, wonder will they go back and do some pressed runs of the past 2 seaons, that way we have all pressed disc versions available McGillicuddy 06-20-2012, 10:42 PM I was wondering that, also. It seems to me they should! And, are Alice and Night Court the only WB exclusives being pressed, so far? I refuse to purchase the WB DVD-R sets, especially considering they're more expensive than regular retail sets!. Its frustrating because there's alot of shows I want from the WB library. I hope they decide to manufacture all their exclusives on regular DVD. ---- I just purchased Alice, and will purchase Night Court seasons 4-6, if they go back and release them properly. This was probably just for the screeners, discs that professional reviewers get to evaluate the release. skees53 06-21-2012, 02:17 PM The keyword is INITIAL run. While the screener copies which we received for Night Court and Alice are indeed the pressed discs, several people who have bought other recent releases have confirmed that they received the pressed discs as well. The real question here is how far those will go. They say that they're making a small run of these pressed discs, but of course, they aren't saying how small or large this is. But I was talking to somebody who just ordered Without a Trace S3 (which has been out for over a month now) from Warner Archive last week and received it this week, and they received pressed discs for that set. Warner Archive isn't really commenting much on this, other to confirm that they are starting out new multi-disc titles as pressed DVDs and once those supplies are gone, they will switch to the DVD-R versions. o.o604 08-04-2012, 06:24 PM bump o.o604 10-19-2012, 01:12 PM bump |
