THE ELECTION is my favorite episode on good times i seen it a bunch of times and i feel sorry for jimmy pearson he seemed to have no personality, he was decent, he was quiet and a nice man and he dident want to get revenge from the old bald guy who was stuck up who won the election because he new alot more people and was more popular than he was i also thought it was wrong for him to call him a loser, james was a jerk in this episode and cruel for making fun of jimmy but since he lost the vote at the end he felt bad for the guy and gave him a tip on how to be confident and attract people to vote for him next time, jimmy looked like he was about to cry when he found out only 3 people voted for him i guess he was humiliated infront of the evans this has to be the sadest episodes in the show, Did anybody else feel kinda sorry for Jimmy Pearson for not winning the vote ?

Jimmy had himself to blame. He was dull as dishwater during the election, and only got a personality after he had already lost.

yeah i was thinking the same thing he was acting like an 80 year old man who was tied down by his wife, jimmy he was only 26 years old if he had the power he had at the end where he impressed james he would have won the vote and popularity at the end what i learned in this episode the only way to get people attracted or listen to you is if you have the energy and additude to get their attention, the producers should have brought him back the next season and have him tear the old bald headed guy apart with his ghetto additude and win the vote would have like to see the episode come to life, i always wondered if jimmy pearson ever won a election vote after he walked out that door and out of the evans life forever.
