Here's what the former Louie DePalma said in an interview back in 2009...

Danny DeVito dished to "Extra" that a "Taxi" reunion movie is definitely a possibility! "It's not out of the question that down the line we could go revisit the garage and do a really good 'Taxi' reunion movie."

The "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star explains that getting the cast back together is easier said than done, saying, "We love 'Taxi.' I did five years on it. All the people on 'Taxi' are my friends. Everybody started doing other things, so we were all separated and there was no way to get us back together at the same time."

DeVito, Tony Danza and Christopher Lloyd starred in the Emmy award winning series about New York City taxi drivers and their dispatcher.

I would absolutely love to see a Taxi reunion! Though it would be sad without Andy Kaufman and Jeff Conaway...

What's more likely to happen is another damn "remake" complete with an uninspired cast and off-color vagina jokes.

Taxi is probably one show that could still do a good reunion.

What the point they probably have Wilmer Valderrama playing Tony, Steve Carell playing Alex and the main cast as passengers getting dropped.

I agree Sonny, I mean Jeff Conaway already had left the show so you could make mention of him being a big star in Hollywood. As for Andy Kaufman that may be more tricky, but either way, the cast was/is brilliant and a Taxi reunion, not a remake, would be great to see.
