There are some people who believe the only reason Adam Sandler is being shunned by movie goers, movie critics, and the razzies, is because he's a conservative.

I doubt that's a real factor in the audience reaction, given the fact that, like you, almost no one even knows he is a conservative.

His movies, IMO, are almost completely lacking in anything that you'd want from a movie. Real characters, believable situations, honest laughs...sorry but I have never seen what anyone sees in this guy at all. He might be the nicest guy in the world for all I know but I find his films unwatchable.
